Business on the up

“Things went really well and in 2012 I decided to establish a complementary business, providing graphic art to the commercial sector. Together with a business partner I set up Lacuna Graphics as a limited liability partnership, under Nick’s expert guidance,” Gary explains. “Nick also helped me to release some of the equity from a pension pot, which enabled me to buy all the equipment I needed for the new business  This really helped our start-up and cash flow.”

“Five years down the line, however, my Lacuna Graphics partner decided he wanted to change direction. At that juncture I enlisted Nick to help us to dissolve both companies. Although it was in many ways a sad time, all the transactions and legal processes went very smoothly and I estimate Nick managed to reduce our debts by over £10,000.”

“I currently work as a sole trader, providing scenery and sets for TV shows. I still rely heavily on Nick to steer me in the right direction with regards to mitigating as much tax as I possibly can.”

“It may sound cheesy but I really cannot find a single bad word to say about Nick and his colleagues at Phoenix. They’re 100 per cent reliable and really know their stuff when it comes to financial advantageous advices,” Gary concludes. “What a find!”
